Aglaonema 'Variegated Snowflake' — The Low-Maintenance Overachiever
Broad, glossy green leaves splashed with white and lime-green in patterns so pretty they look intentional. (They are.) Snowflake is a compact Chinese Evergreen hybrid that somehow manages to look stunning in the spots other plants refuse to live — dim corners, office desks, that shelf nobody else wants. She's slow-growing, tidy, evergreen year-round, and genuinely hard to kill. Southeast Asian roots, zero attitude, maximum visual impact. The plant you buy for a beginner and then quietly covet for yourself.
Care Card
🌿 Light — Medium to bright indirect is ideal for keeping that variegation sharp. She'll tolerate low light, but the whites will fade and growth will slow. More light = more drama.
💧 Water — Let about half the soil volume dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Yellowing leaves = overwatering. She'd rather be slightly dry than soggy.
💨 Humidity — Tolerates average indoor humidity but appreciates a little extra. Not high-maintenance about it — just don't blast her with dry AC air constantly.
🌡️ Temperature — 65–75°F is the sweet spot. Nothing below 60°F, no cold drafts, no chilly windowsills in winter.
🪴 Soil — Well-draining, slightly rich potting mix. Add perlite or orchid bark for extra aeration if needed.
🌱 Fertilizer — Balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength once a month in spring and summer. Skip fall and winter.
✂️ Pruning — Just remove yellow or damaged leaves as they appear. She stays tidy on her own.
⚠️ Toxicity — Toxic to pets and humans. Calcium oxalate crystals — keep her out of reach.

Shipping rates are based on the packed weight of your order (plants + soil + pot + box + insulation). This helps us cover the real cost of getting breakable, living things safely to you.
In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
