LIGHT: Bright indirect light essential for variegation; more light than standard Polly; no direct sun (scorches variegated sections); low light = reversion
WATER: Water when top 1-2 inches dry; extremely sensitive to both overwatering and underwatering; variegated sections more prone to rot
HUMIDITY: High humidity critical (60-80%); mist carefully (avoid water sitting on leaves); use humidifier or pebble tray
FERTILIZER: Balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength monthly spring/summer; variegated plants need less fertilizer than green forms
TEMPERATURE: Warm 65-85°F (18-29°C); never below 60°F; avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes; may go dormant in winter
TOXICITY: Toxic to pets and humans; contains calcium oxalate crystals causing mouth/throat irritation, swelling, vomiting
