🌿 Light — Bright indirect, non-negotiable. Dark green base plus white venation plus cream variegation means reduced and unevenly distributed chlorophyll across three distinct visual layers; good consistent light keeps all three elements vivid and the whole extraordinary composition intact.
💧 Water — Top inch dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Chunky well-draining aroid mix essential; variegated tissue is less forgiving of soggy roots than standard amazonica—precision matters considerably more than frequency here.
💨 Humidity — 65–80% required. Humidifier strongly recommended; dry air causes browning that shows immediately and dramatically against both the pale variegated sections and the brilliant white venation.
🌡️ Temperature — 65–82°F. Never below 62°F. Cold drafts damage pale variegated sections fastest and most visibly—stable warmth is non-negotiable for keeping all three visual elements intact and looking intentional.
🌱 Fertilizer — Quarter to half-strength balanced liquid every 2–4 weeks in spring and summer. Variegated tissue burns more easily than green—go gentle and consistent. Nothing in fall and winter.
