Alocasia Azlanii is the rare diva who knows she's gorgeous and demands you admire her from every angle—those iridescent leaves shift from deep emerald to purple to bronze depending on how the light hits that glossy metallic surface, with dark fuchsia veins streaking across each heart-shaped leaf like lightning that forgot to leave. She's compact but commands every room she's in, the plant equivalent of high-end jewelry: stunning, investment-worthy, and requiring consistent attention to humidity, water, and temperature to keep that iridescent magic firing on all cylinders. New leaves unfurl copper-purple and slowly deepen as they mature—each one a slow reveal that makes the whole thing worth every demanding moment.
Care Card
🌿 Light — Bright indirect, non-negotiable. Iridescent coloring requires good light to shift and shimmer properly; direct sun scorches and fades, low light turns the whole display flat and dull.
💧 Water — Top inch dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Hates soggy roots and hates drying out—she wants consistent moisture and she will communicate any deviation immediately through yellowing leaves.
💨 Humidity — 60–80% required. Mist regularly but avoid water sitting on leaves; humidifier or pebble tray is the right setup. Dry air dims the iridescence faster than anything else.
🌡️ Temperature — 65–85°F. Never below 60°F. No cold drafts, no sudden swings—she may go dormant in winter just to keep you on your toes.
🪴 Soil — Chunky well-draining aroid mix. Roots need airflow and consistent but not excessive moisture—this is not a plant that forgives a bad soil mix.
🌱 Fertilizer — Half-strength balanced liquid monthly in spring and summer. Nothing in fall and winter during dormancy.
⚠️ Toxicity — Toxic to pets and humans. Calcium oxalate crystals cause mouth and throat irritation, swelling, and vomiting if ingested; sap irritates skin.
🐣 Beginner Friendly? — No. Rare, expensive, demanding about water and humidity, prone to pests, and sensitive to environmental changes—this one is for collectors who are ready for the commitment.

We ship all live plants with custom packing, insulation, and lots of cushioning so they arrive in the best condition possible. Shipping rates are based on the packed weight of your order (plants + soil + pot + box + insulation). This helps us cover the real cost of getting breakable, living things safely to you.
In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
SHIPPING NOTE: Shipping includes wrapping and insulation. Heat packs are not included by default—please add a Heat Pack add-on to your cart for cold-weather shipping. Shipping Days are Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend and holiday delays.
