The Alocasia 'Pink Princess' is the genus doing something it has absolutely no business doing this well—those dark, glossy arrow-shaped leaves are brushed with soft pink to blush variegation that shouldn't work against deep green and yet works completely, the whole composition landing somewhere between botanical oddity and genuine showpiece. She's rare, she's unexpected, and she carries the full Alocasia personality underneath that pretty exterior—humidity demands, occasional leaf drops, strong opinions about being moved. Worth every bit of it.
Care Card
🌿 Light — Bright indirect, consistently. Pink variegation has reduced chlorophyll and needs good light to stay blush and vivid; low light fades the pink toward cream and eventually toward nothing interesting at all.
💧 Water — Top inch dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Chunky well-draining aroid mix essential; pink variegated tissue is less forgiving of soggy roots than standard green Alocasias—don't test it.
💨 Humidity — 65–80% required. Humidifier strongly recommended; dry air causes browning that shows immediately against pale pink sections and ruins the whole delicate effect.
🌡️ Temperature — 65–82°F. Never below 62°F. Cold drafts damage pink variegated sections faster than green tissue—stable warmth is non-negotiable.
🪴 Soil — Chunky well-draining aroid mix. Pink variegated tissue punishes poor drainage quickly and without mercy.
🌱 Fertilizer — Quarter to half-strength balanced liquid every 2–4 weeks in spring and summer. Pink tissue burns easily—go gentle. Nothing in fall and winter.
⚠️ Toxicity — Toxic to pets and humans. Calcium oxalate crystals cause serious oral irritation if ingested.
🐣 Beginner Friendly? — No. Rare, humidity-demanding, and unforgiving of care mistakes—this one is for experienced collectors who can give the Pink Princess the treatment she clearly expects.

Shipping rates are based on the packed weight of your order (plants + soil + pot + box + insulation). This helps us cover the real cost of getting breakable, living things safely to you.
In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
