Achieve the glowing, refreshed skin you deserve
Amydrium zippelianum variegated is one of those plants that makes seasoned plant people lean closer—jagged foliage, climbing ambition, and streaks of cream that look almost hand-painted. It feels wild and refined at the same time. Extremely limited in cultivation, daring you to make it your center-piece.
This is a climber that gets more dramatic with support. Better light and a pole usually mean better leaves over time.
LIGHT: Bright indirect light is essential. The variegated sections contain less chlorophyll, requiring brighter conditions than the standard form.
WATER: Allow the top inch to dry between waterings. This climbing aroid prefers a well-draining epiphytic mix (bark, perlite, coco coir).
HUMIDITY: 60–80%. Benefits from a moss pole or climbing support, which also helps maintain humidity around aerial roots.
FERTILIZER: Balanced fertilizer every 2–4 weeks in active growth. Dilute to half strength for this rare variety.
TEMPERATURE: 65–85°F. Keep away from cold drafts.
TOXICITY: Toxic to humans, cats, and dogs.
HOW OUR SHIPPING WORKS We ship all live plants with custom packing, insulation, and lots of cushioning so they arrive in the best condition possible. Shipping rates are based on the packed weight of your order (plants + soil + pot + box + insulation). This helps us cover the real cost of getting breakable, living things safely to you.
In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
SHIPPING NOTE: Shipping includes wrapping and insulation. Heat packs are not included by default—please add a Heat Pack add-on to your cart for cold-weather shipping.
Shipping Days are Monday-Wednesday to avoid weekend and holiday delays.
PLEASE NOTE: What you see is the vibe — not the exact plant. 🌿
Each plant has its own personality (some a little more dramatic than others).
Leaf shape, size, and variegation will vary, but pot size is consistent.
