💧 Water — Top inch dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Chunky well-draining aroid mix essential—velvety Anthurium hybrids punish overwatering faster than almost anything else and they are not subtle about communicating root distress.
💨 Humidity — 65–80% required. The velvet surface is the whole point and dry air destroys it; humidifier is non-negotiable. Never mist directly onto velvety leaves—water marks on velvet are permanent and deeply upsetting on something this beautiful.
