🌿 Light — Low to bright indirect light. One of the most light-flexible plants in the hobby; she adapts to nearly any indoor light condition, though bright indirect light produces the most vigorous curling and the best spiderette production.
💧 Water — Let the top inch dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Tolerates occasional neglect better than most plants; those thick roots store water and she'll forgive a missed watering without drama.
💨 Humidity — Average to moderate. Completely comfortable in typical home humidity; brown leaf tips in very dry conditions are the only complaint she'll register, and even then it's more of a suggestion than a crisis.
🌡️ Temperature — 60–80°F. Tolerates a wide range; keep above 50°F and away from cold drafts and she'll ask for absolutely nothing else.
🪴 Soil — Well-draining all-purpose mix. Not fussy about soil as long as drainage is decent; those thick roots don't want to sit in moisture but they're forgiving of most other conditions.
🌱 Fertilizer — Balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks in spring and summer. Light feeding; over-fertilizing causes brown leaf tips and reduces spiderette production which is the whole point of having her.
⚠️ Toxicity — Non-toxic to cats, dogs, and humans. One of the genuinely pet-safe classics—hang her anywhere without a second thought.
