🌿 Light — Full sun to bright indirect; at least 4–6 hours of direct sun daily. That silvery crested form needs strong light to maintain its compact, tight undulations; low light causes etiolation that stretches and distorts the crest in the wrong direction entirely.
💧 Water — Let the soil dry out completely between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Classic cactus drought tolerance applies; overwatering is the fastest and most irreversible way to lose a crested Euphorbia—when in doubt, wait another week.
💨 Humidity — Low. Prefers dry conditions; typical home humidity or drier is ideal. No misting, no humidifier, no pebble tray—she is not interested in moisture in the air any more than she is in the soil.
🌡️ Temperature — 60–95°F. Keep above 50°F; bring indoors before frost. Loves heat and strong light; cold and damp simultaneously is the one combination she cannot survive.
🪴 Soil — Fast-draining cactus or succulent mix with added perlite. Drainage above all else; crested Euphorbias rot with impressive speed in moisture-retentive soil.
🌱 Fertilizer — Diluted cactus fertilizer once in spring and once in summer. Minimal feeding; she grows slowly and deliberately and does not need encouragement to do otherwise.
