Philodendron 'José Buono Fiesta' takes the already collector-coveted José Buono—those enormous, broadly ovate climbing leaves with bold irregular variegation—and cranks the color expression into full celebration mode, the cream and white variegation more densely distributed and more dramatically contrasting against the deep green base in a way that makes the standard José Buono look like it was just warming up. Every new leaf is a different fiesta, some lightly splashed, some almost entirely pale, none of them repeating, and the whole vigorous climbing display builds into something that makes a wall look like a destination rather than a background. Big, bold, variegated, and entirely committed to the party.

🌿 Light — Bright indirect, consistently. Dense cream variegation means significantly reduced chlorophyll; good light is what keeps those bold pale sections vivid and healthy rather than struggling and reverting.
💧 Water — Let the top 1–2 inches dry between waterings, then water thoroughly and drain. Chunky well-draining aroid mix essential—heavily variegated tissue is less forgiving of soggy roots than standard Philodendrons; root rot on a José Buono Fiesta is a genuinely painful loss.
💨 Humidity — 60–75% preferred. Humidifier recommended; pale sections show browning edges faster than green tissue in dry air and on leaves this large and valuable that's not acceptable.
🌡️ Temperature — 65–85°F. Never below 62°F. Stable warmth keeps those variegated leaves unfurling consistently; cold drafts damage pale sections faster and more visibly than green tissue.
🌱 Fertilizer — Half-strength balanced liquid every 2–3 weeks in spring and summer. Monthly in early fall. Nothing in winter; heavily variegated tissue is fertilizer-sensitive—consistent and gentle over aggressive and occasional.
⚠️ Toxicity — Toxic to pets and humans. Calcium oxalate crystals cause oral irritation and vomiting if ingested.
🐣 Beginner Friendly? — No. Large-format, heavily variegated, and climbing—this one is for experienced collectors with the space, the setup, and the commitment to grow something genuinely extraordinary.

In cold weather, we strongly recommend adding a Heat Pack add-on for each shipment. Heat packs are priced separately and add additional weight to your box.
